Use of Capacitor Batteries to Improve the Quality of Electrical Energy

The article deals with the installation of capacitor batteries. The question of the relevance of their installation in the power system of Ukraine. Presented real objects where capacitor batteries are installed. Shows the main difficulties and errors in the design of capacitor banks. Data showing the reduction of losses of electrical energy and voltage drop when installing capacitor banks. Differences between automatic and non-regulated capacitor banks are discussed.
