Information Security based on DNA - Importance and Future Trends

Information security is very vital in today's digital era of e-commerce and e-business, multiple cryptographic techniques are used for security the data over the network. In another side, there are variant techniques to attack the encryption techniques. Most of the traditional techniques that used in solving scientific problems, especially in the cryptology field, suffers from many limitations, so, it's helpless to solve the difficult and complex scientific problems. As a result of scientist's efforts to solve this complex problem in the world, they employed a new technology, some of them are natural inspire. DNA technology is one from the new computations, such as quantum and membrane computing, DNA cryptology is one of the rapid emerging technologies which works on concepts of DNA computing. DNA computing is a new technique for securing data was introduced using the biological structure of DNA and its biological operations (also called molecular or biological computing). The aim of this paper is to survey the important works produced in the DNA cryptology field, in the both subfields, cryptography and cryptanalysis.
