Data access resolver for IOT enabled SOC interconnections with dynamic programability feature

Access resolver circuits having a plurality of request inputs and programmable priority scheme is reported in this work. The proposed efficient implementation scheme find vital applications in almost all practical SOC/NOCs. IOT applications involves data access and control more frequently and secure manner. To enable this, such circuits need to be designed specifically. Authors have addressed this gap implementing programmable data routing arbiter for IOT SOC communications with simple scaling-capabilities minimizing the design efforts and verification efforts. The simplicity of the proposed methodology can be understood with the fact that using proposed mechanism circuit can be scaled in similar fashion as that of adder scaling while increasing the hierarchical depth.Hence a '(n x k)' routing arbiter can be implemented with the help of pre functional/tested '(n/2 x (k-1))' functional module. Verilog RTL is used for functional implementation and verification of the proposed scheme. The proposed arbiter scheme is verified by progressively implementing '(1024 x 10)' routing arbiter using the proposed integrated hierarchical approach. This validate the proper working of the proposed architecture. This implemented arbiters are further implemented on Xilinx FPGA- Virtex 7 - xc7z010-3clg400.
