Cascade Control of Spacecraft Formation with Communication Delay

The leader-follower spacecraft formation control problem is investigated in this paper. The formation dynamic model under the circular restricted three-body problem is proposed, the attitude control algorithm of the leader spacecraft, and the relative position control algorithm of the leader-follower are established. By considering the communication delay between the leader and the follower, a new control algorithm is proposed. Finally, simulation results show the effectiveness of these algorithms.
