Information Management - the Basis for Fulfillment of People's Information Needs

The paper deals with the issue of information management in relation to information systems and in defining the information needs entities in the organization. The concept of a transformation place and its information needs are defined in terms of the amount, accuracy and time. Data, information and their relation to management are discussed, the concept of an information sphere, in which is the transformation place, is introduced. Furthermore, attention is paid to the influence of communication and competence as well as insufficient understanding of human psychology.
