Dynamic Voltage Restorer Modelling for Holomorphic Embedding Distribution Load Flow

In recent times, Holomorphic Embedding Load Flow method is an emerging power flow analysis tool. Being a recursive load flow method, it guarantees the convergences of the load flow depending on the network. To have a proper load flow analysis it is required to model different electrical components associated with it exactly. Therefore, dynamic voltage restorer has been modelled over here so that it can be accommodated with in the holomorphic embedding load flow study. Dynamic voltage restorer is an important device installed nowadays in power system network for having a smooth voltage profile in the network without any voltage sag. To test the accuracy of the mathematical model, the proposed load flow model has been tested over IEEE distribution test cases and also over a practical Indian distribution grid. Comparative analysis has been done with existing power flow techniques to justify applicability of the proposed modeling over the power distribution networks.
