An Intelligent Integrated Terminal Based on Edge Computing for Power Distribution and Metering

In this paper, an intelligent integrated terminal based on edge computing is designed for the improvement of distribution system and metering system, which is composed of hardware layer, system layer and software layer. The hardware layer consists of core board, storage module, AC sampling module, display module, security module, local communication module, remote communication module, RS-485 interface communication module, Ethernet interface, remote communication port, and remote-control port. The system layer is composed of driver and system kernel; The software layer uses container technology to integrate the functions of distribution transformer terminal and concentrator through application software to achieve data sharing. The terminal is deployed at the junction of the distribution transformer side and user side. Two containers are deployed on the terminal to serve for monitoring distribution transformer and metering respectively. By making full use of the container security isolation function, the software application programs related to their respective services are installed in the distribution transformer container and the metering container respectively, and the remote interaction with the master station of metering and distribution is carried out through the remote communication module, realize data homologous collection.
