Research on hydraulic dump response performance of civil aircraft brake system

The brake system is one of the main ways to slow down speed of an aircraft on the ground. The core evaluation index of brake system performance is anti-skid efficiency. The high braking efficiency can effectively shorten the braking distance of the aircraft, reduce tire wear, and prevent puncture caused by wheel slip. In this paper, the entry point of study is the impact of the brake hydraulic dump time on the brake anti-skid efficiency. Aiming at the problem of insufficient hydraulic dump time of a certain type of civil aircraft brake system, the influence of the brake system hydraulic components on the brake hydraulic dump time is analyzed by the method based on AMESim and Matlab joint simulation. Finally, the key factors that restrict the dump time of the brake system are determined, and a set of system improvement parameters are proposed to provide a solution for the optimal design of the anti-skid efficiency of the aircraft brake system in the later period.
