Design of high-precision and high-reliability aircraft stepper motor drive servo control system

This paper develops a stepper-motor-driving servo valve control system that can be applied to aircraft environmental control and thermal management systems. The overall design of the stepper motor servo control system, power drive design based on inverse time protection, and the design of phase current acquisition and output monitoring circuit is introduced in this paper in detail. By these designs, the high-reliability driving of the motor is achieved. Aiming at the problem that stepper motors are prone to low-speed vibration, torque ripple and large noise, this paper proposes the constant current drive technology based on fixed duty cycle method and the three-stage start-up method, and as a result, high-precision control of the motor is achieved. Experimental results show that the stepper motor servo control system designed in this paper has perfect functions and performance, complete fault diagnosis and protection mechanisms, high control accuracy, and high reliability and practicability.
