Design and trial production of a 500 kV GIS and Gil bus internal fault simulation platform

In order to improve the accuracy of internal fault diagnosis of 500 kV GIS and Gil equipment, a set of simulation platform for internal fault of 500 kV GIS and Gil bus is designed based on the idea of single-phase structure (single-phase one shell) and basin insulator dividing air chamber, and the field strength of its components is simulated and verified based on the finite element simulation platform. The platform has the functions of effectively simulating overheat fault, discharge fault and internal post insulator defect. It has the expansibility and can explore and apply the cutting-edge technology in this platform. According to the test items of gas insulated metal enclosed switchgear above GB 7674-72.5kv and rigid gas insulated transmission line with rated voltage of 72.5kV and above in GB / T 22383, the factory test was carried out on the prototype and the effectiveness of the platform was verified.
