Abstract:

Due to the insufficient number of ground stations for air quality indicators measurement in Ukrainian cities there is a need to use satellite data that provide similar air quality indicators, but cover the entire area of interest. This paper describes the validation of the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) based on the publicly available ground measurement of the air quality indicator PM2.5 for Kyiv for correct using of satellite information in the future.
