Applying TOGAF-based Cloud Adoption Framework

Despite of its flexibility and scalability, many organizations still encountered challenges to successfully implement cloud solution. Migrating from legacy to cloud solution apparently required rigorous communication and coordination with cloud provider. TOGAF-based cloud adoption framework was designed to facilitate both the enterprise architecture and business strategy. This paper demonstrated how this framework was applied in a real case of cloud call center initiative. The step-by-step approach in this framework has assisted the project team to assess the extent of preparation effort, perform cloud solution selection process, and estimate the benefits to business.
