Quarcare - IoT Based Patient Health Monitoring System

The purpose of this study is to monitor patient's health using a web application. In an analysis, the data collected from the public hospitals in bigger cities found that many people were facing a issues such as Inadequate reach of Healthcare services, shortage of medicare and also unmanageable patient loads. This paper aims to resolve the above discussed problems by providing several features to patients like online consultation with doctors, emergency ping to a doctor, online appointment scheduling, telemedicine, Videocall Consultation along with Online prescription. For this primarily, the patient's data are monitored using the Temperature sensor and Heartbeat sensor. The measured data are sent to the secure database which provides an alert if the health parameters exceed the threshold. Theoretical and practical implication of the project are discussed.
