Method for Solving Electromagnetic Field of a One Side Axis Counting Sensor

A calculation method for the induced electromotive force in induction coils is proposed of one side axis counting sensor. First, for the without rail and without wheel case, magnetic induction intensity calculation models inside and outside of an iron core are proposed based on the imaginary magnetic charge method. Second, the calculation method of the magnetic induction intensity generated by the eddy current in the space is given. Third, by building a two-dimensional simplified physics model of a wheel and decomposing the eddy current field state of a moving wheel, the steady-state component equation and transient component equation of the wheel eddy current field are obtained. Finally, an experiment platform is built to verify the accuracy of the proposed calculation models. The research can not only promote the development of the one side axis counting sensor but also significantly improve its electromagnetic field theoretical level.
