Implementation of distance education methods and technologies adopted at the UPV during the SARS-CoV-2

Due to the unusual pandemic situation caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) needed to adapt its teaching strategies consequently and schemed a mix of on-site lectures combined with online lectures during the first and second waves, that affected classes programmed for the second semester of the scholar term 20192020 and first semester 2020-2021, and implemented 100% online teaching during the third wave, that affected classes programed for the second semester 2020-2021. Despite all the efforts to adapt tuition, UPV professors faced serious problems not only to teach but also to guarantee students assessment. In this paper it is shown how teaching was adapted for one subject of the Computer Engineering Degree carried out during the 1^st semester, one of the Data Science Degree taught throughout the 3^rd semester, and one of the Master’s Degree of Graphic Arts. The syllabus remarking how was adapted, the assessment and the classes is presented for each case in this document.
