A Fingerprint Based Smart Attendance and Security System Using IoT and Ultrasonic Sensor

This project tends to develop a system for tracking the attendance of students and teachers as well as enhancing the security of an educational institution using a fingerprint module, sonar sensor, and IoT. This system includes hardware and a web server. The hardware system is able to collect attendance data and monitor the security of the classroom. The fingerprint module checks the authorization of a person and sends a command to the door locking module. The ultrasonic sensor ensures whether the person actually enters the room or not. After taking the attendance the wi-fi module sends the Id or roll to the web server. The web server stores data in the database and processes it for further action. A touch screen is used to interface with the system.
