CORONARIA expert system for diagnosis and therapy of ischemic heart disease

An expert system was constructed for the evaluation of the diagnosis and therapy for ischemic heart disease (IHD) in a decision model. The CORONARIA system works in two different modes: (1) as a system helping the operative works or screening the population for IHD; and (2) as a teaching model in the university and postgraduate medical education schools. This expert system uses a special expert-system shell GENESYS developed in Hungary. It is implemented in Turbo Prolog.<>
