Dimensionality Reduction and Clustering Analysis of Daily PV Power Signals

This paper presents a methodology for performing dimensionality reduction and clustering on daily photovoltaic (PV) power generation signals. However, the author has found that the proposed approach does not provide the desired performance or improvement over other, simpler algorithms. In this manuscript, we provide documentation of the original proposed method, a discussion of the issue and deficiencies, and a direction for future work.
