A 70-MHz 70-dB-gain VGA with automatic continuous-time offset cancellation

A 70-MHz VGA with a 70-dB gain control range is designed using a 0.5-/spl mu/m CMOS process. The VGA employs an automatic continuous-time offset cancellation and can tolerate an input offset voltage up to 50 mV. The power consumption is 15 mW from a 2.5-V supply, and the core area is 400/spl times/240 /spl mu/m/sup 2/.
