The Reference Architecture of An Integrated Service Middleware Hub in The Environment of Knowledge-Based Organizations

The COVID-19 pandemic accentuated the need to digitize the activities of organizations in almost all fields of activity and the need to access extensive IT services for communication in compliance with the requirements of social distancing. The transfer speed and the availability of data were benchmarks for the new way of operating the business. The availability of IT services that largely influenced the accuracy of the information is the main driver for innovation, and disconnected applications and infrastructure no longer serve a digital society. For these reasons, the demand for IoT, Cloud services and Analytics has increased upwards since the beginning of the pandemic. This trend accelerates in present times. As this journey still in its early stages, users will not be satisfied with the services used during the social distancing period and will focus on more complex business services. Expectations from community services move more and more towards the digital environment; thus, the proposed concept of an integrated services hub emerges as the proper solution for collaboration through data, artificial intelligence-driven insights, content sharing, high available connectivity, and interoperability.
