Research and Analysis of Indoor Positioning Technology

With the advent of the era of the Internet of everything, The Internet of things industry has entered a new stage. With the support of the Internet, many emerging technology industries have been developed, such as smart home, unmanned driving, drones and other technologies. The attention of personnel, these technologies are more or less inseparable from positioning technology. Since GPS and Beidou positioning technology have been applied in our lives, many technologies have been greatly developed, such as navigation systems, which can greatly help people travel. However, the development of the city has promoted the establishment of many indoor venues. In the complex indoor environment, the GPS positioning signal is greatly attenuated due to the occlusion of the roof of the building, making the software unable to perform normal indoor applications. Due to the development of indoor positioning and its broad application prospects, indoor positioning has begun to be applied in many fields such as mobile phone mutual transmission, exhibition traffic statistics system, nursing home or hospital remote care system. This article summarizes and compares various software and hardware systems of indoor positioning technology to compare the pros and cons of various implementation methods.
