The Low-Carbon Combined Heat-Electric-Gas Scheduling Model with Electric Boiler and Electric-to-Gas

To solve the problem of wind power consumption limitation in winter heating and the environmental issues of carbon emission from thermal power units, a low-carbon integrated electricity-heat-gas system model is proposed with electric boilers and electric-to-gas equipment. Aiming at carbon dioxide emissions, carbon capture devices, electric boilers, and electric-to-gas equipment are installed in the area with severe wind curtailment. The proposed model is to minimize system operation costs considering unit power constraints, equipment constraints, carbon capture constraints, and system constraints. Finally, simulation results on a serious wind curtailment system show that the model proposed in this paper can reduce the system cost effective and carbon tax of the system and enhance wind power integration, which has significant economic and environmental significance.
