Security Concerns of Fog Computing in Field of Healthcare using Blockchain: A Review

Fog Computing generally known as fogging uses IoT devices for computation and storage of data using virtualization. Processing of captured data is done locally instead of doing the same thing over networked resources remotely using cloud infrastructure. Major advantage of this technique is reduction in latency. Fog computing nodes are connected through wired or wireless medium. It is possible in fog computing that system must remain connected on truncated requirement strategies comparable changes. Now these days, security has one in the burning issues in fog computing. Fog computing is used for onsite analysis whereas Blockchain as a decentralized framework and access control are used to establish security and trust. Fog computing using blockchain in the field of healthcare is a solution of many problem, because now a days as the population increases its required to maintain the data and records of patients in efficient and reliable way. Managing these huge medical data records is still a challenge in fog computing. Privacy is also a very important feature in healthcare applications because records related to medical information of patient are very important record that requires robust authorization as well as authentication methods. Storage capacity is another challenge for storing huge medical records due to limited space availability in fog. This paper describes problems and advantages of fog computing base architecture using blockchain in the field of managing medical data records using health care applications along with future scope of using blockchain in field of healthcare.
