Television and electronics

In this paper an attempt has been made to explain some of the interesting circuit techniques used in P A L-D Colour Television Receivers. Typical circuits which make use of discrete components are presented and some aspects of their physical operation are described. Finally some Integrated Circuit implementations are briefly considered for comparison purposes.
