Solving the Problem of Finding the Locally Optimal Placement of Corridors for the Possible Movement of Transport of Large Carrying Capacity

The article proposes a graphical analysis of the distribution of transport demand over the territory of a large city on a regular grid with a step of 500 m. The values of the transport dependence parameter for each cell of the regular grid are calculated. An algorithm for finding transport corridors for the movement of passenger transport of large carrying capacity has been developed. The proposed algorithm is the first step in solving the problems of finding the optimal type of public transport for a particular city, taking into account the transport demand and territory that has formed on it. On the example of a large city of the Russian Federation with a population of about one million people, the results of the search for transport corridors with the possibility of organizing the movement of transport of large carrying capacity are shown.
