Motor uniselector development and modern applications

In selecting the subject of my address this evening, I had in mind several points, the most important of which concerned the current interest in the Motor Uniselector and its production in this country for use in the South African communication system. I shall, of course, comment on the use of the MU elsewhere as well as in this country but one cannot but reflect first of all on the communication aspect generally of South Africa in relation to the rest of the world.
