A Novel Self-Optimizing Synchronous Rectifier Digital Control For Phase-Shifted Full-Bridge

Based on the characteristics of phase-shifted full-bridge (PSFB), this paper proposes a digital control method for synchronous rectification without additional auxiliary components. It analyzed the single-peak relationship between the output voltage and the synchronous converter drive, and applies the optimal hysteresis comparison search method, which can accurately and quickly search for the best driving point for synchronous rectification control. Besides, in order to reduce the coupling between phase-shift control and synchronous rectification control, the control is decoupled, which significantly improves the dynamic response ability of the system. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed by experimental results.
