Application of IOT and Stresswave Analysis in Online Monitoring and Diagnosis of Large Generating

This article focuses on applications of Internet of Things(IOT) and Stresswave Analysis technology in large generating units monitoring and diagnosis. Under the framework of perception layer, network layer and application layer three-tier system, condition monitoring point deployment, data transmission, and monitoring data analysis were investigated. Through the application cases of rolling bearings and sliding bearings of hydropower unit and steam turbine, the validity and accuracy of diagnostic conclusions such as thrust bearing wear, bearing blocks loose were verified by the equipment maintenance. This case provides practical guidance to implement predictive maintenance in large generating units.
