SAW Filters and Mobile Communication Systems 5G

The introduction of a new mobile communication standard is inseparably associated with new requirements for filters, caused both by the development of new frequency ranges and the expansion of the bands used, and the increasing complexity of mobile devices. The article analyzes the reasons why the surface acoustic wave technology continues to be one of the dominant frequency filtering technologies even after the introduction of the new 5G mobile communication standard.
