Construction Management Analysis of Building Decoration Engineering Based on BIM

The existing BIM calculation tools cannot fully meet the measurement requirements of decoration engineering. Therefore, this paper proposes a solution for the secondary development of BIM and Revit, to extract model data, and manage the construction. We take collaborative design as the core concept, and analyze the application process and related technologies of BIM Technology in building decoration construction management from multiple perspectives. Then, through the relationship between the whole life cycle of decoration engineering and BIM, the key factors that hinder the application of BIM Technology in the building decoration industry are obtained, and the key improvement methods are elaborated in detail combined with specific cases. The test results show that this scheme can effectively reduce the waste in the project and increase the overall benefit of the project for the architectural decoration project.
