An investigation into the resistance of various paints, with special reference to the footing resistance of transmission poles

This investigation of the paints used on the bases of transmission line poles was carried out at the suggestion of Mr. E. L. Damant, of the Electricity Supply Commission, with the object of finding the effect of the paint on the footing resistance. Seven paints used by the Electricity Supply Commission (Natal Central Undertaking) were supplied through Mr. E. L. Damant. The paints were the following
