Discussion on street lighting

H. G. Val Davies (Member): Mr Downey's paper on street lighting is so comprehensive as to leave little room for contributions. The important points have been covered in detail. I have available, however, a short film entitled ‘Light the Street’ which I now propose to project. The projection will occupy some twenty minutes and I believe will help to emphasise most of the principles outlined by Mr Downey and provide the animation so desirable in illustrating the principles of street lighting.
