Hardware Module for Pulse Interference Mitigation in Digital Signal Streams

The report presents an analysis of existing methods to mitigate interference and focuses on the peculiarities of applying the methods in automotive radar. A variant of realization of the module of suppression of asynchronous pulse interference based on the window method is considered. This method does not require accumulation of information over several probing periods and can operate in real time, tracking changes in the flow of input digital samples, performing correction of samples distinguished by a sharp change in amplitude. The model of module's operation in multichannel radar based on interaction of Initiator-Follower blocks is proposed. Implementation of the module is focused on application of FPGA chips.
