Design and Implementation of Ultra low power CMOS based Operational Trans-conductance Amplifier (OTA) for Biomedical Applications

This paper presents a design of an ultralow-power operational Trans-conductance amplifier (OTA) intended for biomedical application and realized in a 0.18micrometer CMOS technology. The proposed OTA take advantages of bulk-drive (OTA) scheme to reduce power consumption. The OTA uses a single 0.8v supply and dissipates 5.5pw of power and provides 70db gain which makes its suitable for use as a main block of many biomedical applications including implantable and wearable sensors. The simulation results are compared with Conventional OTA structures. Some recent works indicates Significant increases in gain and reduction in power Consumption. The current reused OTA with low-power and low-noise capacitor feedback amplifier used for ECG signal applications. To improve the efficiency in noise power. It consists reused current scheme architecture. This adapts a differential input stage CMOS inverter for low noise.
