Fuzzy Logic and Meta-heuristic Firefly Algorithm based Routing Scheme to Extend Network Lifetime of WSN

In the last few decades, the wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have achieved popularity because of its instinctive nature, that makes it obvious that it can be fixed in landscapes where human beings may not be able to reach. Since the last decades, both the utilization of energy and the Lifetime of Network have been among the highest challenge in the WSN. We therefore propose a Fuzzy Logic and Meta-heuristic Firefly Algorithm based Routing Scheme to Extend Network Lifetime of WSN (FLMFLA). In this work, the cluster header selects using three parameters: The residual energy of the node, distance from its center of the grid, and communication cost with the sink node using the fuzzy rules.
