VANET Based Accident Alerting System

Due to the population expansion and the global economy, the number of automobiles on the road has increased correspondingly in recent years. The increased density of vehicles on the roads, particularly in urban areas, has resulted in a slew of traffic control issues, resulting in traffic congestion. An increase in traffic congestion will increase accidents which in turn cause extra congestion on road. Nowadays, the introduction of new technology and communication devices makes driving more convenient and safer. The paradigms of VANET can envision a sustainable answer for Intelligent Transportation. The important purpose of the proposed machine is to lessen the traffic congestion caused due to accidents by giving caution alerts to the cars in the environment since the driving force can take the ideal decision without any dawdle. This paper has developed a caution alerting system via VANET for a large number of vehicles in a small congested traffic location after analyzing the effects of the most preferred routing protocol in such situations. Without concentrating more on accident detection techniques, this research work concentrates only on the communication part. So, the accident that happened is not discussed instead things to happen after the accident are discussed here.
