Intelligence of Al in MEOR Process

This paper considers the latest technologies like AI (Artificial Intelligence) and its utilization in MEOR (Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery) Process. MEOR is a process of using microorganisms to retrieve oil from the existing wells. For enhancement in the production of petroleum oil reservoir, the performance of the recovery is subjected to a surfactant-polymer (SP) flood, wherein a neural network model has been developed as it is a supervised learning of back propagation for feedforward. Artificial Neural Network [ANN] model has been utilized for the assessment of the viscosity of the polymer solutions. One of the most useful and effective methods is Carbon dioxide (CO
₂
) injection method, which is used for improving the hydrocarbon recovery. With the help of MMP (Minimum Miscibility Pressure), a better performance of CO
₂
flooding has been obtained. A new approach has been determined with the MMP during CO
₂
flooding by utilizing the Artificial Intelligent methods. In addition to that, with the help of AI, a five layered feed-forward backpropagation algorithm has been proposed to screen the EOR methods.
