Plant Disease Classification using Pruning Techniques

One of the vital segments of the Indian Economy is Agriculture. Occupation to nearly 50% of the motherlands labor force is delivered by the Indian farming segment. India is acknowledged to be the world's biggest maker of pulses, rice, wheat, spices, and spice products. Agriculturalist's financial progress hinges on the value of the harvests that they yield, which bank on the vegetable's development and the produce they grow. Since plants are exposed to the external environment, there are high chances of getting infected by the diseases. Plant diseases are a major factor in crop losses in agriculture. Vegetation is greatly susceptible to ailments that disturb the progression of the plant which in chance disturbs the environmental science of the agriculturalist. To distinguish a plant illness at the very early stage, the usage of involuntary illness recognition procedures is useful. The signs of plant diseases are noticeable in diverse measures of a plant such as leaves, etc. Labor-intensive uncovering of plant disease by leaf pictures is wearisome work. This paper presents a Deep Learning approach based on pruning techniques to detect and classify plant diseases by examining the leaf of a given plant.
