Research on Temperature Modeling and Compensation Technology of I/F Conversion Circuit

The change of ambient temperature affects the conversion accuracy of current/frequency (I/F) conversion circuit, which is the digital output system of inertial devices, and then affects the output accuracy of inertial navigation system. To solve this problem, this paper studied the temperature characteristics of I/F conversion circuit and found out the main influencing factors of temperature drift of I/F conversion circuit. From the perspective of engineering application, a method based on temperature drift modeling and compensation of I/F conversion circuit was proposed. Through repeated experiments, the temperature compensation model of I/F conversion circuit was obtained. The experimental results showed that in the temperature range of -20°C~+20°C, the output frequency of the I/F conversion circuit after compensation changed from 12Hz/°C to 3.2Hz/°C, and the mean square error decreased from 727.4Hz to 56.27Hz, which effectively improved the temperature characteristics of the I/F conversion circuit.
