Research on scratch detection and location technology based on vector product

Among the surface defects of many products, scratch defect is the most common. But the scratch itself has small scale and big shape difference. In this paper, combined with the actual technical needs of enterprises, aiming at the characteristics of scratch on the surface of thermos cap. We use MATLAB software to preprocess the image of thermos cap with scratch, and combine with vector product algorithm to identify the defect and calculate the position of the defect.
