Soft computing approach for classification of complex power quality events

Precise identification and analysis of power quality disruptions in electrical systems is a crucial step in identifying the causal factors of such occurrences before any suitable remedial action can be implemented. PQ recently has been an increasing issue for professional and research fields. This is attributable to the growing number of disruptive loads in the manufacturing and service domains, as well as the vulnerability of introducing these heavy loads induced by the existence of these disruptions. The existence of PQDs reduces the performance of the power systems in which they occur, and which results in decreased output and durability of the utility grid-linked machinery. There are nine groups of simulated Power Quality Disturbances signals being examined for authentication of the proposed algorithm. The method implemented is being inspected and the outcomes are being recorded. Findings of the implemented decision-based classifier are contrasted with the test results of multiclass SVM and other current strategies. The results obtained indicate that the bagged tree classifier is far more effective than the present methods. Moreover, the suggested classification model would be used effectively to identify individual and multiple Power Quality disorders.
