On-line mapping of three-dimensional time varying bioelectric fields

Mapping of 3-D bioelectric fields is performed by recording in volume conductors multiple electrograms from 2-D or 3-D electrode grids of variable format. The described software system attempts to facilitate the processing and displaying of 3-D data recorded by variable uniform electrode grids. The data are presented on planar sections parallel to the three orthogonal reference planes. The system can be used as a first-step analysis toward a realistic reconstruction of 3-D bioelectric fields.<>
