Design and Modelling of Automated Hot Oven Food Dehydrator

The food dehydrators are required to remove the moisture content from agricultural products for preservation. The objective of this paper is to design an automated food dehydrator for the preservation of fruits and vegetables. The hot oven dryer showed the capability to dry agricultural products reasonably reduce the amount of water while ensuring the superior performance of the dried product at the same time. The PID controller used to control the heat supply, heating filament (electric bulb), temperature sensor, and fans are used instruments for designing this hot oven dehydrator. Temperature can be used to dry the agricultural products in this designed setup is ranges from 45°C - 55°C in an automatic way.
