Performance Analysis of MIMO-OFDM Wireless Systems using Precoding and Companding Techniques

Modern Wireless Communication systems provide an effective method for using the multipath propagation which is provided by using Multiple Input Multiple Output-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) is having a high Peak-to-Average-Power-Ratio (PAPR) which results in nonlinearity in the saturation region of High Power Amplifiers (HPA). Hence, PAPR has to be reduced. In this paper, the PAPR decrease is accomplished by using Precoder and Companding techniques are implemented. By using this method there is decrement in PAPR at same time the BER of the system remains same.
