The Relationship Between Cognition Function and Three Factors Based on Big Data and ANOVA Text

The factors which affected cognitive function, especially in the elderly, attracted people's attention. Since many possible factors have an influence on the cognitive impairment, the goal of the research is to investigate whether diabetes, glucose level, and cholesterol would affect people's cognitive function. For this research, using NHAES cognitive function questionnaire and some basic body test lab data from 2013-2014 and conducting the ANOVA test and the linear regression helped to conclude that diabetes' cognitive function performance is worse than healthy people's cognitive function performance and no apparent linear regression is proved. The explanation of the relationship between diabetes and cognitive function is APOE s4 allele, which is a factor related to both diabetes and cognitive function. So, it is essential to prevent diabetes to improve cognitive function. For future studies, more answers of the cognitive function test should be collected with less no responded answer, and the mechanisms about the glucose and the cholesterol affect the cognitive function would be investigated.
