Coexistence of the wireless charger and low-power circuit in a car interior

This article presents a method of analyzing the impact of a leakage of magnetic flux of the wireless power transfer system on low-power inductive circuits in its vicinity. The example of a resonant charging system, operating in a state of nonaxial coupling of the coils, showed the possibility of its coincidence with the immobilizer system, which is typically used in automotive vehicles. The value of critical coupling at which both systems can be operated at a similar frequency has been identified. Model evaluations were carried out based on a massproduced vehicle, thanks to which it was possible to verify the results obtained. Despite the significant simplification of the simulation model prepared in the ANSYS Maxwell 3D environment, it is possible to extend the presented methodology to analyze other phenomena, as mentioned in summary.
