Design of General Data Acquisition System for MOS Gas Sensor

A data acquisition system based on MOS gas sensors, in which the analog signal processing module, automatic range switching module, AD conversion module, MCU and serial communication was introduced. The acquisition system can collect the MOS gas sensors' signals. After the sensor signals were processed by the analog signal conditioning circuits, they were converted into digital signals through the MCU ATmega16 and transmitted to the host computer. The system realized realtime data collection, automatic switching of measurement ranges, and was featured by high sensitivity, fast response, and low cost.
