A Smart IoT based real-time system to Minimize Mishandled Luggage at Airports

Everyday millions of people travel around the world. As the amount of baggage’s increase and many people carry similar kind of baggage’s there are chances of mishandling and unintentional exchange of baggage’s. This creates a lot of unsatisfaction among customers and the airport authorities are in a need to meet the customer satisfaction. To overcome the above issue, the proposed work devices a framework that will allow passengers to collect their own luggage without misplacement. The novelty of the work is that, it uses image processing and QR Code as an authentication framework to allow the passenger to collect their own luggage. This framework will reduce the number of mishandled luggage at the exit of airport and improve customer satisfaction.
