Research on Full Range Selective Protection Method of Circuit Breaker Based on Hierarchical Controller

In view of the defects of selective protection of circuit breakers in low voltage distribution systems, a full range selective protection strategy of circuit breaker based on hierarchical controller is introduced, a distributed hierarchical controller which can communicate with each other is proposed, and the hardware circuit design of hierarchical controller and the software program design based on UDP protocol communication is described. The controller can exchange the status information of each circuit breaker among levels, coordinate and control the tripping of circuit breakers, effectively solve the problems that may occur in the backup protection of short-circuit section and overload section of circuit breaker in the distribution systems, meet the requirements of selective protection cooperation of multi-level distribution network, and has broad application prospects.
