Vibration Analysis of High Pressure Mud Piping Systems and Vibration Reduction Method

In order to solve the problem of the excess vibration problem in high pressure Mud piping system, an improved piping stress algorithm was proposed. Firstly, the accurate stiffness of the supports structure in dynamic model was carried out using Sacs software. Secondly BOSPulse from Dynaflow has been used to evaluate the pressure pulsations out of the pumps, and then the unbalanced harmonic pulsation forces was implemented into Caesar II analysis to get the stress analysis and fatigue assessment. Finally the inducement of vibration and main vibration source were explored. The test results proved the analysis process and method were feasible.
